For the past twelve years, Hunter has directed the development of Young Life’s youth ministry in the Middle East and now North Africa. From 2012-2017, Hunter, his wife Lauri and their daughter Haley lived in Nazareth, Israel, where they worked to identify, train and empower local Israelis and Palestinians to reach local teenagers with the Gospel. Today, more than a dozen indigenous staff, both in the Middle East as well as North Africa, lead the day to day work of Young Life. Originally from Winston-Salem, but now living outside of Atlanta, Hunter and Lauri continue to help lead development for the region.

A portion of proceeds from both books goes towards sending local kids to Young Life camp in the Middle East.
