Events and Reminders:

One Service, One Family – July 2 – Sept 3: This summer, we will come together as family each Sunday! We will worship together in a single service at 10:00am and then head to the front lawn for fellowship and special treats! Feel free to bring a blanket and enjoy popsicles, ice cream and more each Sunday right after service. There will be no 8:30am service held from July 2 – Sept. 3.

Clothing Collection – All of June & July: Clean out your closets and help our WCF friends!! We will be accepting clothing donations for the entire month of June. Please read up on what we can accept HERE.

Youth Broom Hockey – July 8: All Grace Youth (rising 6th – 12th graders) are invited to join us for Broom Hockey on Saturday, July 8th, 2023. Register on Realm.

Vacation Bible School – July 9 – 13: We have a STELLAR time planned! Sign up as a camper HERE!

Body BLoved Women’s Bible Study – July 13, 20 and August 3, 10: Body BLoved is a Bible study that gives women a road map to navigating a non-diet lifestyle as a believer, with other believers. Please register on Realm

Men’s Tubing – July 15: Men of Grace, join us for a fun day of tubing down the Dan River!

Youth Pool Party & Slip ‘n Slide – July 1 6: All rising 6th – 12th graders are invited to our Grace Youth Summer Kick-Off Party at Hamilton Lakes Pool on Sunday, June 18th, 8-10 pm. Please register on Realm

Manhood Restored Men’s Bible Study – July 18 – Aug 22: This bible study will be following the book Manhood Restored by Eric Mason. Attendees will need to register and purchase the book.

Youth Mission Trip – July 23 -29: Grace youth will be traveling to YWAM Richmond for this year’s summer mission trip. Be sure to register on Realm – space is limited.

WCF Pasta Night – July 26: We need volunteers to help us make pasta for our WCF friends! We have a brand new baked spaghetti recipe that is delicious and easier on your budget. Sign up today!

New Life Classes – July 29 & 30: A class for 2nd – 5th grade students to learn more about the best life – a life with God. Sign up now on Realm!

Say YES Fest – Aug 6: Please join us for this fun event where you can find out about different service needs within the church and sign up for your part in ministering with our church family!

VOLUNTEER NEEDS

Van Driver, Church at the Lake: We have secured a van to help with transportation for Church at the Lake! We are in need of a driver to meet at Grace at 8:30am on August 27 and bring a few people to the Camp Weaver before 9am. They would then depart from Camp Weaver at 1:30pm to bring riders back to Grace. If you are interested in being a driver, please email volunteer@gracegso.org.

ASL (American Sign Language) Interpreter: Grace needs someone to help out with ASL interpretation on Sunday mornings (10am services). Email office@gracegso.org if you or someone you know is willing to serve!

GraceKids Teachers: We need volunteers to pour the love of God into our kids! If you’re interested in teaching, please contact Lee at lsimmons@gracegso.org.

WCF Assistance: We need some extra hands for Wednesday Community Fellowship. Please reach out to Jennifer at jholloway@gracegso.org.

WCF Slide Tech: We are looking for a few adults to run slides for worship on Wednesday evenings. We will train you! The time frame to serve is 5:30-6:30. Please email volunteer@gracegso.org. If you can click a button, you can run slides!

Buddies Needed: We need 2-3 people to join our buddy team! Buddies are men and women who offer one-on-one care for kids in our family who need some specialized attention on Sunday morning. This position serves 2 times a month during one service. If you are interested but don’t have any experience, we can train you! Please Email Tracy Anderson (tanderson@gracegso.org) to learn more.

WEEKLY AT GRACE

SUNDAY: Join us for worship in person or online every Sunday….

Online services – Regular Sunday Services are livestreamed at 10am on our You Tube Channel ..OR our Facebook Live Feed. Catch up on any you missed by clicking these links.

WEDNESDAY: Wednesday Community Fellowship dinner is provided every Wednesday at 6pm in our sanctuary. All who need a hot meal are welcome! Children may be served with their parents.

Prayer Requests – We want to pray for you! Prayer requests can be submitted online HERE.
