Events and Reminders:

Stand in the Gap Month – November: As a church, we have set aside the month of November to consider how God is asking us to be a people who practically care for vulnerable children both before and after their birth. We will have a prayer space open during most of the month in the Eagle’s Nest with different prayer prompts to pray for kids at Grace and in our city.

Grace Youth & Kids Classes Cancelled – Nov 26

WCF Blanket & Coat Collection – November through February: Please help us by bringing WARM/large blankets and coats to Room 105 for our WCF friends throughout the winter. You may also purchase through our Amazon wishlist.

Giving Tuesday – Nov 28: You are able to easily donate to our offering box or submit donations online at: https://onrealm.org/gracegso/give/now

Baptism – Dec 3: If you are ready to be baptized, please register through Realm to participate. If your 2nd – 5th grade child would like to get baptized and has completed the New Life Class, you may also sign them up at the same registration link. Registration closes Nov. 19.

Women’s Christmas Dinner – Dec 3: Hey ladies! Looking for a way to get connected at Grace? Join us for our annual Christmas dinner. Enjoy a delicious dinner, fun fellowship, worship, and a dynamic message from April Jackson. We will provide the main dish, please bring your favorite dessert to share. If you would like to decorate a table, please email jholloway@gracegso.org.

Grace Youth Christmas Workshop – Dec 9: Grace Youth! We are so excited to partner with Glenwood Together to help people from the community make Christmas gifts for their family and friends. Please dress warmly as some parts of this event will be held outside.

VOLUNTEER NEEDS

ASL (American Sign Language) Interpreter: Grace needs someone to help out with ASL interpretation on Sunday mornings (10am services). Email office@gracegso.org if you or someone you know is willing to serve!

GraceKids Teachers: We need volunteers to pour the love of God into our kids! If you’re interested in teaching, please contact Lee at lsimmons@gracegso.org.

Buddies Needed: We need 2-3 people to join our buddy team! Buddies are men and women who offer one-on-one care for kids in our family who need some specialized attention on Sunday morning. This position serves 2 times a month during one service. If you are interested but don’t have any experience, we can train you! Please Email Tracy Anderson (tanderson@gracegso.org) to learn more.

WEDNESDAY: Wednesday Community Fellowship dinner is provided every Wednesday at 6pm in our sanctuary. All who need a hot meal are welcome! Children may be served with their parents.
