Covenant Class – September 29: Interested in becoming a Covenantor (member) at Grace? Or just curious about who we are? Join us for Covenant Class on Sunday September 29 in Room 201. This class will introduce you to Grace’s constitution and theological position papers as well as dig a little more deeply into what makes Grace unique. Be sure to register on Realm.

Prayer Walk Sunday – October 6: We will gather for one service at 10:00am in the sanctuary for worship. We will then head out in groups for walks through our community and college campuses. Each group will have prayer leaders to guide us through specific prayer prompts as we walk. Route lengths vary between 1 mile to 1.5 miles. Some routes will require a short drive to a nearby location. A 1-mile Kid Loop and playground time is available for families with young kids. We will also have guided prayer time at Grace for people who would like to remain at Grace to pray. A hot dog lunch will be provided on the front lawn after the walk. Please bring a bag lunch if you need other accommodations. Register on Realm for lunch and the route you wish to walk. Please bring lawn chairs or blankets to the front lawn for lunch. Remember to wear comfortable shoes!

Men’s Weekend – October 11-13: Men! It’s time to gather at Camp Cheerio! October 11-13. Men’s Weekend is a time for men to build community, eat great food, and grow in Christ. We look forward to engaging in worship and spiritual challenge. Register today!

Child Dedication – October 20: If you are a parent of a child(ren) and would like to dedicate your child(ren), you may register on Realm to participate. At least one dedicating parent must be a Covenantor at Grace. Next Covenantor class is September 29.

Multiethnic Conversations – October 20 – November 24: We believe that God has called us to move strongly towards our value of authentic diversity, undergirded by the foundation of the gospel. We are offering 6-week sessions through the book Multiethnic Conversations by Mark DeYmaz and Oneya Fennell Okuwobi. This workbook is a tangible guide that will both challenge and equip us on our journey to becoming a more multiethnic church. Click here for more information.

Do you know our “FAMILY” Acronym and What it Means?

Our Mission: To make disciples who live from the gospel, crossing ethnic and economic lines.

How We Pursue Our Mission: At Grace, we have adopted the FAMILY acronym, which helps explain our goals as a church:

F – Following Jesus
A – Authentic Diversity
M – Missional Community
I – Impacting the City
L – Living from the Gospel
Y – Yielding to the Spirit

The FAMILY acronym is also lived out through our small groups, which we call FAMILY groups. These are blended so that anyone may join one (regardless of marital status, age, etc.). They are how we grow in our discipleship together as a church FAMILY and make an impact for the Lord!
