Advent Season: Advent is a time of expectant waiting to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. As church family we will have a month of prayer and reflection, worship and message as we wait to celebrate together the good news of Jesus Christ. Our sermon series will focus on hope, peace, love and joy. December 1st will be a family-friendly prayer and communion service. GraceKids classrooms will be closed. Christmas Eve services will be 4:30pm and 6pm on December 24. All are invited. Sunday, December 29 will be an online service only. The building will be closed. The service will be available at 10am on our YouTube channel @gracegso.

Youth Christmas Workshop – December 14: Join the Grace Youth group at 2pm as we partner with Glenwood Together to help people from the community to make Christmas gifts for their family and friends. Please dress warmly as some parts of this events will be held outside. Register HERE.
Find your FAMILY group – January 5 & 12: Come check out available FAMILY groups and find the best fit for YOU! You’ll have the opportunity to hear about the importance of discipleship, ask questions, and find out how FAMILY groups have blessed those in our congregation and community. Group leaders will be there to answer questions and help you sign up for a great group. No childcare will be provided for this event, (just bring ’em!) Snacks will be provided. This will happen right after each service in Rm 209 on Jan 5 and 12.
Discovery Bible Study – Beginning January 7: 6-week Bible study in the life of Jesus. Curious about Jesus? Or maybe you do not have a vibrant relationship with him or a regular habit of coming to church. We’re here to help! This study will use the discover Bible Study method and will gather in an informal place (coffee shop, brewery etc.). Register HERE.
Perspectives Class – Beginning January 12: The Missions Team would like to share that the Perspectives class will be at LIFE Community Church this Spring. Register by December 15 for a discount. More information can be found HERE.
WE Shelter – December 8 – March 31: This winter, the Eagle’s Nest will be home to 12 men. We need your help to provide meals and snacks, and to greet residents in the evenings. We also need men to stay overnight. Please click the links below to read volunteer descriptions and to volunteer. If you have specific questions, you may email shelter@gracegso.org.

SUNDAY: Join us for worship in person or online every Sunday….

WEDNESDAY: Wednesday Community Fellowship dinner is provided every Wednesday at 5:45pm in our sanctuary. All who need a hot meal are welcome! Children are served with their parents/guardians at the family table. No meal served on December 25.
