WE Shelter – December 8 – March 31: This winter, the Eagle’s Nest will be home to 12 men. We need your help to provide meals and snacks, and to greet residents in the evenings. We also need men to stay overnight. Our WE Shelter Coordinators will be in the Eagle’s Nest the next few Sundays after worship to give more information and answer questions. Please check out the Amazon Wishlist for supply donations. Please click the links below to read volunteer descriptions and to volunteer. Youth Fundraiser – November 3 – 30: Please turn in all envelopes and donations.
Gifts of Grace Collection: We need more men’s boxers size large. Please check out our Amazon wish list HERE and send packs of new underwear to Grace. Westover Church will supply gifts for kids and youth.
Baptism – December 8: Baptism is an important step in our faith journey. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ instituted two ordinances to be observed by all believers until His return, Baptism and The Lord’s Supper (Communion). Their observance by all believers is urged (Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26). Our next baptism will be December 8. If you would like to take this step in your walk with Jesus, please register for baptism with this link to share your testimony and meet with a pastor. Please register by November 28.
Women’s Christmas Dinner – December 8: Enjoy a very special night that ladies look forward to all year! As we press into our theme “Serve One Another” we will hear from a panel of leaders in our community (Dayna Carr, Mattie Neese and Debbie Galdo) on how the Lord has given them opportunities to serve. Dinner will be Bill Bishop’s famous smoked chicken along with some sides. Please invite a friend and bring your favorite dessert to share. Our new women’s ministry t-shirts will be available to purchase for $10. Information to sign up for women’s retreat will be available as well. See you there!
Advent Season: Advent is a time of expectant waiting to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. As church family we will have a month of prayer and reflection, worship and message as we wait to celebrate together the good news of Jesus Christ. Our sermon series will focus on hope, peace, love and joy. December 1st will be a family-friendly prayer and communion service. GraceKids classrooms will be closed. Christmas Eve services will be 4:30pm and 6pm on December 24. All are invited. Sunday, December 29 will be an online service only. The building will be closed. The service will be available at 10am on Facebook and YouTube.

WEDNESDAY: Wednesday Community Fellowship dinner is provided every Wednesday at 5:45pm in our sanctuary. All who need a hot meal are welcome! Children are served with their parents/guardians at the family table. No meal served on December 25.
