Stand in the Gap – November: As a church, we have set aside the month of November to consider how God is asking us to care for vulnerable children, both before and after their birth. We will highlight this during services with special prayer events, network development, opportunity presentation, and more. Read additional details here.
Youth Fundraiser – November: During the month of November, we will have an envelope fundraiser for Grace Youth. Details are available online, and giving envelopes will be available in the Eagle’s Nest throughout November.
Family Christmas Photos – Nov. 12 and 13: Lasting Imprints Photography is graciously giving Grace Families FREE Christmas photos! Be sure to sign up for your slot here. The photo studio will remain open for everyone to use on Sunday mornings in November and December with your own camera. More info here!
Guest Speaker, Bishop Adrian Starks – Nov. 13: We are pleased to welcome Bishop Adrian Starks to our Sunday morning worship services. Catch up on his bio here.
Grace Youth Turkey Bowl – Nov. 13: We have an amazing afternoon of games and prizes planned for 6th -12th grade students. Find out the details here.
Gifts of Grace – Nov. 20 – Dec. 4: We are coming together as a church family for the holidays to create blessing boxes for our WCF friends. Fill up your shoebox-sized boxes and drop them off in the Eagle’s Nest from Nov. 20 through Dec. 4. Please see the website for full details.
Baptism – Dec. 18: If you or your children are ready to get baptized, please register through Realm to participate. Children must have completed the New Life Class for eligibility.
Simple Worship – Nov. 20: This event is a lovely evening of praise and worship, enjoying the presence of God in our midst through music.
Warm Blankets Needed – November through February: We need your help restocking our WCF closet with WARM/thick/large blankets for our friends who may be sleeping outside. Drop off in Room 105 or order from our Amazon Wishlist and ship directly to Grace.
Reminder: Grace kids and youth classes will be closed on Nov. 27, Dec. 25, and Jan. 1. for the holidays!
Women’s Christmas Dinner – Dec. 4: Hey ladies! Looking for a way to get connected at Grace? Join us for our annual Christmas dinner, with guest speaker, Jo Heather Dodson – details here!
Youth Outreach – Dec. 10: Join the Grace Youth group as we partner with Glenwood Together to help people from the community make Christmas gifts for their friends and family.

Christmas Eve Service – Dec.24: Join us for a beautiful service of Christmas worship, where we will slow down and reflect on the birth of Jesus and his gift to our world. Service time: 5:00 pm.
Christmas Together – Dec. 25: Join our Christmas service, combined with Gate City Church, for worship at 10am on Dec. 25, with pastor Maurice Dent speaking.
VOLUNTEER NEEDS
GraceKids Teachers: We need volunteers to pour the love of God into our kids! If you’re interested in teaching, please contact Lee at lsimmons@gracegso.org.
Photography Team: We love sharing photos of events with our local community so they can see what Grace is about, but we need your help! If you have an eye for photography (experience preferred, but certainly not required – nor is fancy equipment!), help us take action photos of events you may already be attending. Please email Lauren: lhatfield@gracegso.org.
Missionary Care Team: We have a few spots opening up on our Missionary Care Team. This team connects with our missionaries, prays for them individually, and discovers any ways our church can directly serve them. If you’d like to know more about what’s involved, please email missions@gracegso.org

WEDNESDAY: Wednesday Community Fellowship dinner is provided every Wednesday at 6pm in our sanctuary. All who need a hot meal are welcome! Children can be served with their parents.
