Faith Journey: At the age of eleven I made my public profession of faith in Christ at Faith
Presbyterian Church; confessing that I am a sinner in need of forgiveness, and that I trust in Jesus Christ and His work on the cross to cover me. I made known publicly that I desired that the Holy Spirit would move in and guide me through life. There have been other times of re-commitment during my adult life. I’ve been a Covenantor at Grace since 2011 and attended Grace 3-4 years prior. Dorothy and I have been richly blessed through the teaching, fellowship, and many opportunities to love our neighbors in and around Grace. While at Grace I’ve volunteered at WCF, WE Shelter, and VBS; I am part of First Touch, Men’s Ministry, Marriage Team, lead a Men’s Bible Study, and lead a Gather Group. Prior to coming to Grace, Dorothy and I were active members at Moriah UMC for over 20 years – While at Moriah I was mentored by a number of faithful older brothers in Christ. I taught Sunday School (adult and youth), VBS, and served in several ministry / church leadership posts.

Family Life: I’ve been married to Dorothy for 39 years. God surely planned for the two of us to be together – she has been such a blessing to our kids and me throughout the years. We have 3 grown children, all married – Andy (Ivy), Laura (Jamie), Jessica (Matt); and 10 grand-kids. We have lived in Pleasant Garden since 1986.
