Eric Anderson

Eric began attending Grace in March of 1988. In 2008, he joined the staff at Grace as the Church Administrator, bringing both a broad knowledge of ministry and operational excellence. He is currently serving as the Director of Finance & Operations and has 35+ years of experience in management, organizational development, human resources, strategic planning, and financial accountability, gained from a varied career including consulting, managing, and owner-operator roles. In 2012 Eric completed his certification as a CCA (Certified Church Administrator) in church administration through The Church Network (TCN) which is a national organization with 4000+ members, of which he is a member. In 2015, Eric completed TCN Key Leader Training to help serve with the organization on a national level. He currently serves on the Endowment Fund Team & Governance Committee.

Before joining the staff at Grace, Eric served on the Finance Team and continues to serve on that team. He is currently a permanent, non-voting member of the Governing Elder Board. Outside of Grace, Eric has served with Hannah’s Haven, as a board member as well as the Chairman of the Board. He is currently serving on both the board of the local TCN chapter (Dogwood Chapter) and the national board of TCN as a member of the Governance Committee.

On a personal level, Eric is the fourth of five boys. Growing up in New Jersey, he attended a Presbyterian church and was saved at an early age. He moved to Greensboro in 1984 to attend UNCG. It was there he met his future wife, Tracy. Eric and Tracy have 3 children and 1 grandson. Kyle lives in Washington DC with his wife Taylor. Eliina lives in Greensboro with her son Brentley, and Nicole also lives in Greensboro.
