Faith Journey: Growing up I would not say I was raised in the church. We attended sporadically throughout the year but did attend church on Easter Sunday and Christmas Eve. It was not until attending Young Life in high school that I fully heard and comprehended the Gospel. I gave my life to Christ summer before my senior year and growing as a disciple has been my life ever since. Elisabeth and I got married in 1989, moved to Greensboro and found Grace Community Church all in a 2 week time period. We were a part of the first Covenantor Class at Grace in 1990. I have held various Deacon positions at Grace over the years being Treasurer, member of Property Board, Finance Team, Marriage Team, First Touch and A/V Team. I even had the privilege of being a VBS character several years with Will Dungee.

Family Life: Elisabeth and I have been married since 1989. We have 2 grown daughters, 1 son-in-law and one grandchild. We are very involved in various cross denominational groups in Greensboro with Young Life being our primary ministry outside of Grace.

Education: Both Elisabeth and I graduated from Wake Forest University (go Deacs). I majored in Accounting and still maintain my CPA license. Personal computers were not a thing in college but have picked up skills in this area along the way.

Professional: I began working for VF Corporation in 1989 when we moved to Greensboro holding various positions in Accounting and IT before coming to work at Grace in 2001. I worked at Grace for 7 years before turning the reins over to Eric Anderson to work at Caldwell Academy where my children attended. In 2016 I left Caldwell full-time to work for Stearns Financial Group in their Operations/HR/Accounting areas
